The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy conducted a Team building and Team Effectiveness training for World Vision under the theme, Clarity ; Commitment; Contribution, and Concerns. World Vision is an international partnership of Christians whose mission is to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation, seek justice, and bear witness to the good news of the Kingdom of God. The Organization’s key mandate is to ; offer Transformational Development, Emergency relief in cases of conflict and or disasters; Promoting justice in unjust structures affecting the poor; Offering Public Awareness  that leads to informed understanding, giving , involvement and prayer. In order to pursue an achievable mission, Institutions should invest largely  in promoting  and promoting team effectiveness as a foundation to productivity through team building content. The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy offered a tailor made rainting on Team Building that imbues participants with accountability, purpose, cohesiveness, and collaboration. The Workshop was a transformational objective  to  nurture from  dysfunctional into productive teams   . The training improved teamwork and professional  development that allows staff to be able to lead successfully, appreciate each other’s work and  create high performing teams. World Vision was equipped with teamwork training exercises meant to break  down barriers and bridge the gap  between Managers and Staff. The training highlighted  leadership strategies , a scope in Decision-making techniques  , Communication in Teams and Mastering Listening, Non-verbal Communication and Business  Etiquette as well as Leadership and Team Development.
