Harare Metropolitan Province Accountants and Assistant Accountants – Protocol, Etiquette and Grooming Training Workshop

The Harare Metropolitan Province Accountants and Assistants Accountants familiarised themselves with the acceptable rules of decorum and behaviors through a lively Workshop on Protocol, Etiquette and Grooming conducted by the Institute on 5 December 2017 at Golden Peacock Villa Hotel, Mutare. More than 190 participants were in attendance.

The Workshop anchored on appropriate business protocol, etiquette, transparency and accountability since Accountants are responsible for the government or any organization’s finances. The facilitator underscored that lack of proper and acceptable business manners, deportment and grooming portrays a poor image that may be detrimental to one’s chances of getting good impression and positive feedbacks from workmates, superiors and customers. Mr Chikanda placed emphasis on the essence of proper grooming and professional appearance as important vehicles to the creation of first positive impression in the workplace and in the society.

The Workshop was meant to create a polished Civil Servant geared to play a critical role in making a difference through dedication and the ability to influence the working environment. What these Accountants gained through the Training will make a difference and improve service delivery of the Education Sector and the nation at large.
