A Celebration of Diplomacy, Culture and Friendship: ZID at Italy’s 80th Republic Day Reception

The Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID) was honoured to attend the “Diplomatic Reception of the Year” hosted by H.E. Mr Giuseppe Giacalone, Ambassador of Italy to Zimbabwe, and Mrs Gabriela Loreiro, in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic.

The occasion provided a remarkable cultural showcase, featuring three Ferrari cars on display and a beauty pageant highlighting traditional Italian fashion. It was truly an exquisite opportunity to celebrate Italian National Day and the enduring spirit of diplomacy.

As if that were not enough, guests were treated to an impressive array of tables laden with authentic Italian cuisine, offering something to delight every palate. What a memorable celebration of all things Italian!
