DIPLOMATIC DOCUMENTS, REPORT WRITING AND PRESENTATION SKILLS WORKSHOP FOR ARIPO

Suffice to say that the ARIPO is an International Organisation mandated by 18 African States to Manage Report and Register Patents and Trademarks.

Realisation of such a tall mandate for ARIPO necessitated this tailor-made Advanced and Standardised Training in the Language of Diplomatic Documents, Report Writing and Presentation Skills.

The Workshop imbued participants with practical drafting and comprehension of all types of Diplomatic documents and tools of diplomatic communications with the aim to enhance and standardise ARIPO’s massive work, networks and correspondence with Member States and International Development Partners. The Report Writing segment covered a wide spectrum of reports, their nature, types, purpose and how they are structured,  written, communicated and presented. It also underscored report writing as an important genre and building tool for this quasi-legal and regulatory International Organisation, ARIPO.

Imbedded in this two-day workshop was the module on Effective Public Speaking and Presentation skills which was deliberately crafted and brought in to accomplish and give a flourishing polish to  ARIPO’s Diplomatic Practice.

The methodology for knowledge transfer included simulations and experiential techniques acquired when conducting programmes in the diplomatic, international civil service and international organizations to stance ARIPO for Diplomatic Practice delivery excellence.
